Global Warming That Isn't

Where is the outrage?

So you would think that as much as the Dem's and their allies in the Eco-activist world shout about global warming and saving the planet, when given the chance to demonstrate how serious they are about this cause they would go out of their way to really impress people. Right? Wrong! Instead they showed their true colors as most of us who don't believe in the "global warming" or "climate change" hoax knew they would eventually.

The Inauguration the other day was no doubt filled with Obama supporters who for the most part are also the very same people who shout the loudest about "global warming". So you would think that with the whole WORLD watching they would set a good example for their cause. have you seen the pictures of the aftermath of the gathering that took place? According to some reports the D.C Street workers who were assigned to clean up the mess have so far removed over 130 TONS of TRASH. Nothing says "save the planet" like trashing The Mall!! Everything from sleeping bags, socks, soda cups, coffee cups, Obama mementos (which they had to buy) and other assorted garbage was just left there for someone else to pick up. Now THAT is what I call caring for the planet.

On top of this there was also a record set the other day that no one wants to talk much about; especially Al Gore. The Inauguration of BHO will go down in history for many things. The most glaring fact being that it set the all-time record for the most PRIVATE JETS ever used for such an event. There was an estimated 600 small private jets (the kind that get really bad MPG and supposedly destroy the atmosphere) that inundated the DC Metro and have probably single-handedly made the "carbon footprint" in DC the worst it's ever been. You didn't think the Hollywood Elite would fly coach did you? After all this is THE party of the century!!

As with most things that Liberals and Democrats protest about this is just another example of their overall attitude when it comes to social, economic and "climate" issues. They don't necessarily plan to heed their own advice but they darn sure want to make sure you do!! This whole fiasco is a very good example of what you can expect for the next four years and from the Obama Administration and it's minions. The rallying cry shall go forth to all the people from this day forward: Do as I say, not as I do!!!

Enough is Enough!!!

Ok, this has gone on long enough. How high do gas prices need to go before we do something about it? Maybe the reason that the members of Congress seem to care so little about this is due to the fact that they DON'T DRIVE ANYMORE! When they are busy in D.C. destroying our government they are whisked around all over town by limousines. They don't care how much gas costs because as long as they are working in an official capacity the gas is paid for by the U.S. Government. In other words, WE pay for their gas. That's right. Not only do you have to worry about shelling out $80 or more weekly to keep your own cars on the road but you are also paying for them to gallivant all over the Metro D.C. area as well. I'm sick and tired of allowing these idiots to systematically destroy our country. I think that we should start a petition that REQUIRES them to pay for their own gas from now on regardless of the form of transportation they use. That is the only way they will begin to feel the same "pain at the pump" that we do.

The other thing that "We the People" need to DEMAND is that we begin to drill for oil NOW in ANWR. There is no reason why this can't be done and at the same time take care of the precious environment. As far as I'm concerned I could care less whether the caribou have a place to run in the open Alaskan countryside. I care about the environment just as much as anyone else but when it comes down to the comfort of the caribou or the comfort of my family...guess what? The caribou lose!! We purchased the Alaskan Territory in the first place with the idea that we could use it for it's natural resources. We have the capability to drill for and produce our own oil and Congress won't let us touch it because they are beholden to the environmental wackos out there. The same people that want to ban bonfires on the beach in Seattle because it "causes global warming". Are you kidding me? Are people really that stupid? How is it that Mars and Jupiter are heating up at precisely the same level of warmth that the Earth is if WE are the cause of global warming? Are there Martians burning fossil fuels up there also? Isn't it a more plausible explanation that it could be the current cycle of the Sun instead like MANY scientists believe it is? That would make more sense. However, nothing about this argument has anything to do with common sense. It's just plain fear mongering and liberalism that has gone out of control.

If we don't do something about this now we will all be living in a very different world 10 years from now. We will NOT be the most powerful country in the world but one of the weakest. We will not be the place where dreams can come true but the place where misery and regulation abound. We will be a third world nation that is in debt to other world powers and will be well on the way to becoming the property of one of them. We are at a crossroads in our history and we need to choose where we will be in the years ahead. One road leads back to American greatness and independence and one leads to enslavement and indebtedness. We must choose to break this trend downwards or momentum will swallow us in time. WE are the people that can do this. WE must do this for us and for our children and for the generations of Americans that will follow in our footsteps. Will we answer the alarm or will we hit the snooze button.? The choice is ours. Get involved!! Call your Senator's and your Congressional Representatives and tell then TO DRILL NOW!!! If we make this a big enough deal they will HAVE to listen because this is an election year and they hear better when that's the case. Don't think that someone else is going to do it because they won't. They will think just like you and think someone else will do it. The problem is we ALL think someone else will do it and the truth is that NOBODY is doing it. Do you care enough about this country to fight for it? If not you then who? If not now then when? Enough is enough people we need to take this country back...today!!!

Green is Gold

That's right, green is now gold. What do I mean by this? Simple, the catchphrase "Go Green" has finally caught on and now it has become a "golden" marketing opportunity. Saving the planet from Global Warming...oh wait you can't say that anymore since the planet isn't actually warming..now you have to call it "climate change". Wow, isn't that convenient? Just when we were all starting to get used to the whole global warming thing they go and change it on us. But one thing has not changed regardless of what you call it, it's still a fantastic business opportunity! All you have to do is market something and say that it's "good for the environment" and BAM! instant profit. Never mind the fact that it's going to cause other problems. Take for example the new "long lasting, energy saving light bulbs" that are popping up everywhere. Sure, they save energy in the long run but just don't break one. You see inside these bulbs is a small amount of Mercury. That's right! Mercury. Now there have been some urban legends that claim if you break one you need to call in a Hazardous Materials team to clean up the mess. However, those appear to be false. Although there is a small amount of Mercury in these bulbs it's not enough to cause that kind of damage but it still causes you to dispose of them and handle them in an entirely different way. Like removing anyone from the room for 15-20 minutes and shutting down the ventilation system as well if you do happen to break one. Again, saving energy but at what cost? Well, let's see you can buy the regular incandescent bulbs for about $3.00 for a pack of 4 at most stores. But these babies cost anywhere from $12 to $24 a PIECE!! Saving energy maybe but NOT saving money. But just think of the profits that will be made off of these things.....incredible. The whole global warming/climate change situation has reached a fevered pitch where people have begun to actually talk about prison sentences for those who don't "act in a responsible way toward the planet". One side says there is no doubt that it's happening and that mankind is the cause. While the other says that it's the Sun that it causing the problem and there is nothing that we can do about it. Well, they can't both be right. I for one think we should wait until all of the evidence is in before we start completely changing our way of living. Did you know that for the first time in history we have a wheat shortage in the US? Do you know why? Because farmers are growing more corn so that they can profit from the Ethanol craze that is now sweeping the country as an alternative fuel source. Some farmers are being PAID by the US Government to grow corn for just this purpose. In fact, there are so many farmers growing corn now and so few growing wheat that we have to import our wheat from other countries! The problem is that this has now caused the price of corn to rise and in turn any consumer products made with corn. So in effect, because of the panic over the climate we have now manufactured our own food shortage. Brilliant!! But the money keeps coming in and people keep getting richer. All because we are in a full-blown panic over something that we know very little about and may not be able to do anything about anyway. If I didn't know any better I would almost tend to believe that this is a manufactured crisis that has been set up to re-distribute wealth and to benefit a certain industry over another. Remember Y2K anyone? To this day I can't find one computer savvy professional that believes that anything would have happened if we didn't happen to "fix it before it's too late". Sound familiar? But the "green" movement is in full effect at this moment in time and the "gold" just keeps on pouring in. I wonder, what will the next "fix it or else" problem be on the horizon and whom will that one benefit? Just follow the money....
